Head of Network Engineering – Zoom We are seeking an experienced Head of Network Engineering to lead Zoom's global data center infrastructure initiatives. This strategic leadership role offers an exceptional opportunity to drive innovation and shape the future of our network architecture while making a significant impact on our organization's success. Key Responsibilities ? Lead strategic planning and architectural design of our global network infrastructure ? Drive technology innovation and modernization initiatives across network platforms ? Provide executive-level guidance on network technology decisions and investments ? Develop and execute network improvement strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams ? Oversee budget planning and resource allocation for network infrastructure projects ? Establish and maintain technical standards, policies, and best practices ? Build and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and technology vendors ? Lead risk assessment and mitigation strategies for critical infrastructure ? Champion continuous improvement initiatives across processes and technologies Required Qualifications ? 15+ years of experience architecting and managing large-scale SaaS production data centers ? Deep expertise in: ? Enterprise network protocols (BGP, OSPF, ECMP, MPLS) ? VPN technologies and encryption ? Modern switching platforms and firewalls ? Network security architecture and policy implementation ? Proven experience with Juniper, Arista, and Cisco platforms Strong track record of delivering mission-critical infrastructure projects ? Advanced knowledge of network diagnostics and troubleshooting tools ? Outstanding leadership, communication, and presentation skills ? Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Compensation Level ZM4 Minimum: $214,000.00 Level ZM4 Maximum: $375,000.00 Level ZM5 Minimum: $243,000.00 Level ZM5 Maximum: $426,000.00 In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed, Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that considers base salary, bonus, and equity value. Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
