Application Specialist

We are seeking a highly technical Application Specialist to join our team. This role emphasizes application configuration, integration, and rollout over training, with the goal of ensuring our business applications are implemented effectively and run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Application Configuration & Integration
  • Own the configuration and integration of core business applications.

  • Work directly with vendors to ensure applications are properly set up, customized, and optimized for our environment.

  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for assigned applications, ensuring proper functionality and scalability.

Application Rollout & Support
  • Lead the rollout of applications across the organization, ensuring seamless adoption and minimal disruption.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to define roadmaps for application deployment.

  • Provide technical support for application escalations, handling issues that go beyond standard end-user support.

Vendor & Cross-Team Collaboration
  • Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot, configure, and enhance applications.

  • Act as the point of contact for high-level escalations related to assigned applications.

  • Minimize reliance on IT leadership by independently managing the full lifecycle of assigned applications.

Qualifications

Required
  • 5+ years of experience in application support, configuration, or integration roles.

  • Proven track record working directly with vendors on application deployment and configuration.

  • Strong technical understanding of business applications, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.

  • Experience leading rollouts and serving as an SME for enterprise applications.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred
  • Professional services or legal industry experience.

  • Familiarity with Document Management Systems (NetDocuments, iManage) and related legal technology tools.

  • Exposure to automation, workflow optimization, and enterprise-level integrations.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Anticipated salary range: $75,000 – $100,000 (depending on qualifications and experience).
